Hebrews 1:3  ”He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.”

In my effort to think about God more than about myself, I shared my desire to learn about the majesty of God with my prayer partner.  She told me a challenge she was given years ago.  She said to go outside and look for what reminds you most about the majesty of God and explain why.

I was excited about my afternoon walk as I knew it would be a wonderful time with God.  Immediately I was struck with the sun’s heat on my back.  I looked around and saw that everything is made with the sun’s energy and everything is sustained and nurtured by it.  The shadows showed this magnificence as well as everything had a different light and shade.  Even when I cannot see the sun, I know it is there, making life possible.

My worship continued and is still going as even in my home and as I eat dinner, I know it was made possible by the sun.  I am so glad to have this exercise to share with you.  Take a few minutes, go outside.  Even if it is dark, God will speak to you.
